Neal Mizrahi is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting in the Economic and Financial Consulting, International Arbitration practice, specializing in the areas of business valuation and damages quantification. He deals with domestic matters as well as international trade and investment disputes. Mr. Mizrahi has provided expert and advisory services to companies and governments in North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He has prepared numerous expert reports relied upon by various courts and arbitral institutions, such as the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, the London Court of International Arbitration and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre. Mr. Mizrahi been qualified as an expert in business valuations and damages quantification and has provided oral testimony in these areas.
Mr. Mizrahi is an adjunct professor at the Schulich School of Business at York University and at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, where he has been teaching courses in the areas of accounting and business valuations for the past five years in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Mr. Mizrahi also instructs at the professional level, teaching a component of the Chartered Accountancy program in Ontario.
Mr. Mizrahi is active in the business community. He has acted as a mentor for a number of young entrepreneurs, primarily through the Canadian Youth Business Foundation. Mr. Mizrahi also sits on the board of directors of and organizes events for various not-for-profit organizations, such as the United Jewish Appeal (UJA), the Reena Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club of Ontario.
