Clyde & Co and FTI Consulting consider commercial dispute resolution in the States of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and India in the light of the important and growing economic relationship between the two regions.

India and the Middle East have a long history of cultural and economic exchange. In this paper, Steve Harris and Montek Mayal, together with colleagues from Clyde & Co, review the development of Arab-Indian trade and capital flows that not only serves as an indicator for the growth in overall economic activity, but also the frequency of commercial disputes arising between Indian and GCC parties.
