About Charles
Charles Ditkoff is a Senior Advisor at FTI Consulting and is based in New York. Mr. Ditkoff focuses on enhancing and expanding the depth and breadth of FTI Consulting’s relationships with healthcare organizations and private equity firms.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Ditkoff was Vice Chairman and Head of Global Healthcare Corporate and Investment Banking ("GCIB") at Bank of America Merrill Lynch ("BAML”). He joined BAML as a Managing Director responsible for BAML's coverage of healthcare service providers, technology and distribution. Before that, Mr. Ditkoff was responsible for all of GCIB's healthcare services coverage.
Mr. Ditkoff became one of the most recognized bankers covering healthcare on Wall Street. Under his direction, BAML gained the leading market share in the sector in mergers and acquisitions, as well as financings. Before joining BAML, Mr. Ditkoff worked for five years in the Corporate Finance group at Morgan Stanley, primarily focusing on healthcare. Mr. Ditkoff served as Vice President at Credit Suisse. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Cravath, Swaine and Moore for five years, practicing corporate securities law.
Mr. Ditkoff holds a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. He also holds a J.D. from Yale Law School. Mr. Ditkoff is a member of the board of directors of Accretive Health, a publicly traded healthcare revenue cycle management company, and of Cumberland Consulting, a privately held healthcare technology consulting company. He is also a Senior Advisor to the Marwood Group and the Vistria Group, as well as Counsel to McDermott Will & Emery.
