Chas E. Harvick is a Managing Director in the FTI Consulting Corporate Finance/Restructuring practice and is based in Phoenix. Over the last 13 years, Mr. Harvick has specialized in designing and implementing financial strategies, optimizing value and managing complex claims and events. He has provided advisory services for clients across diverse industries, including real estate; sub-prime mortgage lending; financial services; gaming; restaurants; retail; transportation; government and insurance.

Mr. Harvick has advised debtors, creditors, and equity holders in reorganization and bankruptcy related matters involving cash management and analysis; debt-restructuring; development and implementation of turnaround plans; review of EBITDA quality and strategic options for creditors; operational analyses; financial forecasting; liquidation analyses; creditor negotiations, cram-down interest rate and feasibility analyses and other turnaround and bankruptcy related issues. He has advised secured and unsecured creditors in out-of-court restructurings, loan workouts and provided services regarding the wind-down of estates. Mr. Harvick has also served as a plan agent to oversee post confirmation matters for unsecured creditors.

Mr. Harvick has provided extensive services to businesses and law firms involving complex claims and events in a variety of areas, including damage analysis; settlement claims administration; compliance matters; financial and forensic issues; patent infringement and dispute and litigation matters.   

Some of Mr. Harvick’s clients and engagements have included Transwest Resort Properties, Inc., TFS Electronic Manufacturing Services; USA Capital Diversified Trust Deed Fund; Mortgages; Specialty Trust; Arby’s FX4, NutraCea; Bashas’; USA Commercial Mortgage Company; various financial institutions and numerous real estate partnerships and entities owning residential, multifamily, commercial and land developments. In addition, he has represented numerous other clients regarding confidential matters.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Harvick spent one and a half years in the Forensic practice of KPMG and three years in the Value Solutions practice at Arthur Andersen. His change in firms was due to KPMG’s acquisition of Arthur Andersen’s Value Solutions practice in early 2002 and FTI Consulting’s acquisition of KPMG’s Forensic practice in late 2003.

Mr. Harvick services on the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Arizona (SOAZ) and is also a member of SOAZ Advocacy Resources Leadership Counsel and the SOAZ Finance and Development Committee.
