Chase Meyers is a Senior Director in the Construction Solutions practice at FTI Consulting and is based in New York. He has more than 11 years of experience in the areas of construction consulting, general contracting, and construction management. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Meyers was a manager at Secretariat International where he advised clients on large international disputes for projects primarily throughout Europe, Asia, South America and Australia.
Mr. Meyers specializes in the forensic analysis of project management, damages, and scheduling issues. He has consulted on complex construction disputes involving planning and scheduling, delay and disruption, financial auditing and damages, and project management. Mr. Meyers has provided these services across a wide range of projects, including rail/transit, bridges, refineries, power plants, hotels, air/seaports, residential towers, LNG plants, commercial office buildings, educational facilities, golf courses, mines, manufacturing facilities, naval bases, nuclear fuel facilities, and shopping malls.
His experience includes the preparation of expert reports and presentations involving various aspects of dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, and litigation proceedings. He has experience in schedule delay analysis and critical path method scheduling. Mr. Meyers has reviewed and analyzed change orders, standard of care claims, and contract information, in addition to resolving other project management and claims related issues.
Prior to working in construction consulting, Mr. Meyers worked as a construction manager for Webcor Builders and Austin Commercial on large scale commercial and residential projects. As a third generation builder, his on-site construction experience includes project supervision, planning, cost estimating, and quality control.
Mr. Meyers has a B.S. in Construction Science and an M.B.A. in Finance and Energy from the University of Oklahoma.
