Drew Krut is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based McLean, Virginia. He is a member of the Performance Improvement practice.

Mr. Krut has more than 15 years of supply chain experience having held various leadership positions in supply chain design optimization, transportation logistics, reverse logistics, operations performance improvement and merger integration in both F500 and private equity (“PE”) portfolio companies.

Mr. Krut drives cost-to-serve improvements on a global scale with a specific focus on increasing team productivity and efficiency through driving process improvement and creating performance metrics. He builds and leads highly functioning teams and has extensive experience in management consulting and interim management roles at an executive level. His experience in leading teams covers a wide range of industries, including industry-leading e-commerce corporations, automotive manufacturing, consumer products, retail, 3PL providers, technology companies, Department of Defense (“DOD”) and state/local governments.

Most recently, Mr. Krut has served as the Interim Vice President of Global Supply Chain and Operations for an industry-leading consumer products PE company, where he identified and led savings initiatives of $6.3 million in global supply chain restructuring and efficiency improvements. These savings led to a 10 percent lift in the cost-to-serve spend and were executed in less than 12 months.

In addition, Mr. Krut led best-in-class warehouse and distribution operations for Amazon.com, where he designed and implemented industry leading e-commerce supply chain operations and standard operating procedures.

Mr. Krut served as the Integration Management Office Lead for a $1 billion acquisition and subsequent merger of two publically traded, industry-leading technology companies, where he was responsible for information management office (“IMO”)/project management office (“PMO”) functional team integration coordination, synergy identification, value capture and the management of all synergy initiatives throughout the integration.

Furthermore, Mr. Krut has managed various supply chain transformations to include network optimizations through redesign, site relocations, 3PL out-sourcing and 3PL to 4PL transitions, and led numerous enterprise resource planning (“ERP”), workflow management system (“WMS”), and training management system (“TMS”) integration efforts.
