F. Dean Driskell, III is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Atlanta. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Driskell performed litigation support and forensic engagements for KPMG, Andersen and Ernst & Young. With more than 15 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting and financial management, Mr. Driskell specializes in performing financial consulting services for clients involved in various types of economic and commercial disputes as well as fraud and forensic accounting matters. Serving clients and their counsel in both private and public sectors, Mr. Driskell has provided technical analyses and litigation support across a variety of industries, including banking, oil and gas, health care, real estate, utilities, pulp and paper, construction, insurance, farming, chemicals, entertainment, consumer products, manufacturing and various service entities.

Mr. Driskell is responsible for engagement management and the preparation of financial models, economic projections and sensitivity analyses used in the determination of financial damages or dispute resolution. Such matters may include breach of contract, fraud investigation, white-collar crimes, construction claims, lost profits, forensic accounting and arbitrated disputes. Such experience includes the defense of a major health care firm against qui tam and Department of Justice suits alleging fraud and false claims. Mr. Driskell assisted counsel in document production and review and assisted in the preparation of issue summaries to plaintiff’s counsel. Mr. Driskell was also engaged by a Fortune 500 retailer to rebut plaintiff’s alleged damages. Mr. Driskell conducted interviews, analyzed documents and other expert reports, prepared the expert report and outlined damages theories to counsel.

Mr. Driskell holds a B.S. in business administration from Auburn University and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Georgia, a Certified Fraud Examiner and is Certified in Financial Forensics. In addition, Mr. Driskell is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Society of Appraisers, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American Bar Association.
