Jeffrey Spittel is a Managing Director in the Energy, Power and Products practice for FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communications, Corporate Finance and Economics segments. Mr. Spittel is based in Houston, Texas.

He co-leads the firms U.S. energy capital markets practice in the strategic communications segment. In this capacity, Mr. Spittel advises clients on critical communications and strategies during significant moments of change including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, divestments, restructuring and financial issues, shareholder activism and proxy advisory. His engagements also including ongoing investor relations support.

He also works in the Corporate Finance and Economics segments within the EPP practice. His responsibilities include for these segments include providing energy industry, commodity and capital markets expertise on restructuring, performance improvement, sell-side investment banking and transaction support assignments.

Representative engagements include customization of investor relations programs for global, publicly traded E&P and oilfield service companies, IPO readiness, restructurings within oilfield services, commodity and industry thought leadership, 363 marketing and M&A support.

Mr. Spittel has more than 18 years of capital markets experience across various disciplines including equity research, equity and credit trading, and macroeconomic commodity price forecasting. He has spent the last 11 years focusing primarily on the oilfield services (OFS), exploration and production (E&P) and engineering and construction (E&C) sectors in senior research positions. He has also been responsible for publishing crude oil price forecasts for global financial institutions. Most recently, he headed U.S. oilfield services equity research at Clarksons Platou, where he covered more than 40 companies across the global hydrocarbon value chain.
