Kimberly Stukenborg is a Managing Director in the Business Transformation practice and specializes in finance. Ms. Stukenborg is a finance transformation expert with more than 13 years of experience assisting companies with solving complex accounting and finance challenges.
Ms. Stukenborg focuses on assisting a broad range of clients to achieve finance and accounting function excellence through integration, finance transformation, organizational structure redesign, GAAP change adoption, financial systems implementation and strategy, budget and forecasting optimization, and more.
Ms. Stukenborg has worked on a variety of transformation projects, including the finance transformation and simplification across Businesses and Shared Services in over 100 countries of a Fortune 10 company in formation of global centers of excellence and global cost reduction program. She also led a company-wide close transformation project to reduce 20% of a Fortune 10 business’ closing cycles in 10 months by changing over 900 process and systems units, covering 95% of revenues.
Ms. Stukenborg also led a global project management office effort to establish newly formed shared service organization at a Fortune 10 company and was the finance lead for the Oracle Fusion discovery and analysis phase for a Fortune 10 client responsible for the development of future state process flows enabled by cloud technology and opportunity identification for Robotic Process Automation. In addition, she led the adoption of the new revenue recognition standard across a global Fortune 10 company to enable disclosure, quantification, financial planning and analysis and transactional requirements, as well as alignment of complex changes to evolving business strategy and international relations discussions.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Stukenborg was a Director in the Finance Effectiveness practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she successfully delivered large finance transformation solutions to a broad range of clients.
Ms. Stukenborg holds a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from the Williams College of Business at Xavier University.
