Larry Manning is a Managing Director in the FTI Consulting Corporate Finance/Restructuring practice and is based in Dallas. Mr. Manning has more than 14 years of restructuring, corporate finance and advisory services experience in a variety of industries.

Mr. Manning’s experience includes interim management; business plan development and review; financial projection development; liquidity assessment and forecasting; enterprise valuation; buy- and sell-side due diligence; borrowing base reviews; covenant negotiations; asset sales and post transaction services.

Most recently, Mr. Manning provided interim management and financial advisory services to Hostess Brands, $2.5 billon annual revenue. His involvement included the development of cash flow forecasting, assistance in obtaining pre-petition bridge and debtor-in-possession financing, facilitation of pre- and post-petition lender reporting, general guidance through the bankruptcy process and assistance with the implementation and execution of the Company’s wind-down and liquidation.

Previously, Mr. Manning provided financial advisory services to TXCO Resources, a publicly traded oil and gas exploration and production company. His involvement pre-petion and post bankruptcy filing included managing the project team that developed cash and integrated financial forecast models, filing of statements and schedules, and valuation services. Mr. Manning advised management on negotiations with existing lenders and creditors, including amendments to existing credit agreements and multiple debtor-in-possession financing term sheets. He also assisted with the development of the debtor’s plan of reorganization, evaluation of multiple asset purchase agreements, execution of two transition services agreements and wind-down of the business. In addition, Mr. Manning served on the Board of Directors of the reorganized entity.

Other notable engagements include Lineage Power, formerly Tyco Electronics; Stanford Financial; Washington Mutual; Vartec Telecommunications and GDX Automotive, as well as numerous confidential matters.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Manning was with Greenwich Associates for seven years, where he specialized in working with cash management and banking operations groups at large corporate and investment banks on various performance improvement initiatives, strategy formulation, pre-merger due diligence and post-merger integration.

Mr. Manning holds an M.B.A. from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas and a B.S. in finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business. He is a certified insolvency and restructuring advisor and a certified treasury professional. Mr. Manning is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals, the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors and the Turnaround Management Association.
