Mark Laber is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in New York. Mr. Laber primarily advises steering committees, ad hoc groups and creditor committees of distressed companies. His engagements have included public and private companies in the energy; for-profit education; grocery; homebuilding; manufacturing; media; pulp and paper; retail and restaurant industries.
Mr. Laber’s advisory experience includes conducting reviews and assessments of business plans, optimal capital structure, plan sponsor bids, financing transactions, financial projections, management incentive programs and executive compensation plans, plans of reorganization, financial and operational results, liquidity needs and creditor recovery analyses.

At PwC, Mr. Laber performed valuation services for clients within several industries, including pharmaceutical, automotive, healthcare and apparel.
Mr. Laber holds a B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University. He is a certified public accountant in the state of New York and is a holder of the right to use the chartered financial analyst designation. He is a member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors and is a certified insolvency and restructuring advisor.
