Ranjit Mankekar

Ranjit Mankekar specializes in interim management, mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”), due diligence and planning, quality of earnings assessments, financial forecasting, modeling and analysis and treasury management. Mr. Mankekar has close to 20 years of diverse consulting, corporate finance and accounting expertise.

Mr. Mankekar’s recent experience includes serving as the project lead for the financial reporting restatement of a publicly traded clean energy company, where his responsibilities included management and oversight of the restatement process, resolution of technical accounting issues, and coordination and communication with external auditors, members of the audit committee, external legal counsel and the Securities & Exchange Commission (“SEC”).

Mr. Mankekar’s experience also includes serving in an interim management capacity, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer for a direct marketing company, where his responsibilities included developing budgets and long-term financial forecasts, preparing short-term liquidity forecasts and monthly investor/lender reporting packages, reviewing and enhancing accounting policies, procedures and related internal controls, and preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements and management reporting packages, including analysis of financial results and key financial metrics.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Mankekar served as the Chief Financial Officer and was a member of the board of directors of Keating Capital, a publicly traded business development company that specialized in making pre-IPO investments in technology, clean tech, internet and software companies. Mr. Mankekar’s responsibilities included oversight of all finance, accounting and SEC reporting functions, including the filing and periodic updating of the company’s registration statement in conjunction with its initial public offering. Mr. Mankekar started his career and spent seven years with PwC performing audits and providing assurance and advisory services to both public and private companies in the technology, consumer products, real estate and entertainment industries.
