Shane L. Campbell is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in New York. Mr. Campbell is a member of FTI Capital Advisors, an investment banking subsidiary of FTI Consulting. Mr. Campbell’s professional experience includes mergers and acquisitions, private placements, capital raises, management buyouts and debt recapitalizations.

Mr. Campbell has nearly a decade of professional experience in a diverse set of industries, including oil and gas, oilfield services, power and clean tech, environmental services and technology, water and waste water, aerospace and defense, industrial and specialty manufacturing and retail software and technology.

Mr. Campbell has advised companies on buy-side and sell-side transactions, including most recently the sale of a midstream oil and gas terminal to Kinder Morgan Inc., the buyout and recapitalization of a designer and manufacturer of downhole completion tools and the advisory of a drilling services company involving a financial restructuring.

Mr. Campbell has advised on and arranged debt financing for clients, including senior asset-based credit facilities, cash-flow senior term debt, mezzanine financing, leasing, working capital and commercial mortgage facilities. He also has numerous relationships with middle market private equity investors invested in energy, industrial and technology companies.

Mr. Campbell is a regular attendee of the Offshore Technology Conference and the Global Petroleum Show. He has spoken on various panels, including a speaking engagement joined by mergers and acquisitions executives of Halliburton and National Oilwell Varco on capital investment at the International Energy Capital Forum.  

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Campbell was a Partner and Managing Director at New York-based Cronus Investment Banking, where he spent eight years and headed up the firm’s energy industry coverage. Before that, he worked as an investment banker at Royal Bank of Scotland in their Structured Finance group, where he worked on the securitization of various financial asset portfolios ranging in the size of $200 million to $20 billion.  

Mr. Campbell holds d a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Economics from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina,.  Mr. Campbell holds Series 7, 63, and 79 Investment Banking Licenses.
