Adam I. Cohen, senior managing director at FTI, will be speaking on a panel at the Joint International Conference entitled, "Discovery of Electronic Data" covering the interaction between the U.S. discovery rules and other countries’ privacy statutes; how to shield production of electronic documents, and what are the remedies for inadvertent production; and how to safeguard the attorney-client privilege in using e-communications, limit document preservation orders and avoid sanctions. The panel will discuss what law applies—European versus U.S.—and the potential impact on multi-national corporations. The panelists will discuss spoliation issues and provide an
update on the Sedona Conference.
