Managing the Discovery Process
Harvard Club of New York City - New York, NY
September 17, 2007
Discoverable information is increasingly stored, analyzed and exchanged in electronic format. In order to be competitive in litigation, leading corporations and the lawyers who represent then must be able to manage a huge volume of information, often under extreme time pressure. In addition to strong multi-tasking and time management skills, today’s paralegals and litigation support professionals must be more tech-savvy and knowledgeable about the discovery process than ever before. Despite the myriad technical changes impacting the discovery process, some things remain constant. This conference will stress the importance of good communication between those who work in the in-house legal department, their law firm counterparts and the vendors that they hire. Our faculty, drawn from top law firms and the legal Departments of Fortune 500 corporations, reflects the broad spectrum of talent that is required to build the very best discovery teams. They will provide multiple perspectives on managing the discovery process and make the issues relevant to a wide audience. Whether you work at a law firm or in a corporate environment this conference is not to be missed.

Patrick L. Grobbel of FTI Consulting will be speaking.
