Prior to joining FTI, Ms. Resnick was a partner at the law firm of Hartman & Craven, LLP where she served as Chair of the Intellectual Property Department. She worked with clients to develop brand awareness, established corporate policies to protect clients’ intellectual property, and managed trademark portfolios worldwide. Ms. Resnick also represented clients in intellectual property and civil litigation of all types before a wide range of forums, including state, federal and appellate courts and administrative agencies such at the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board.
Ms. Resnick is currently the Chair of the New York State Bar Association Intellectual Property Law Section, as well as the Program Chair for the Section’s Roundtable MCLE program. Other professional affiliations include memberships with the International Trademark Association (member, United States Programs Committee and Chair, E-learning Project Team), the American Bar Association (Intellectual Property Law Section), American Courporate Counel Association (member, Intellectual Property Law Section), the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Intellectual Property Owners Association.
Ms. Resnick holds a Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University National Law Center. She also graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Albany where she earned her Bachelor of Art degree.
Ms. Resnick has published numerous articles on topical intellectual property issues, and she has participated in many speaking engagements at bar association meetings, International Trademark Association roundtables and meetings, and at various trade association and company meetings. |
