Mr. Brown has led numerous revenue cycle improvement initiatives, ranging from extensive turnaround projects to focused redesign efforts for large health systems, stand alone community hospitals and/or payers. In addition, he has managed numerous projects in the areas of broad operations / performance improvement, strategic planning, financial modeling, and labor productivity for hospitals, long-term care providers, home care providers and payers. Mr. Brown has over thirteen years of consulting experience, consisting of four years as a Managing Director in Navigant Consulting’s Healthcare Provider practice, where he was market leader for the East Region, one year as a founding Partner in Subsidium Health Advisors, a strategic advisory firm, and over eight years in Arthur Andersen’s healthcare consulting division as an Industry Director in the Performance Improvement and Revenue Cycle practices. Prior to becoming a consultant, Mr. Brown had over two years of operations experience working for a community hospital in Atlanta, GA and a large integrated health system in Jacksonville, Florida. |
