Assisted plaintiff in a patent litigation in calculating both lost profits and reasonable royalties. The plaintiff is in the building products industry.
Expert witness addressing plaintiff's lost profits and unjust enrichment damages due to defendant's alleged trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, unfair competition, misrepresentation and breach of good faith following acquisition by plaintiff of defendant's commercial landscaping business.
Assisted rock crusher manufacturer in defense of multifaceted damage claim for misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of contract
Submitted expert report calculating the lost profits as a result of alleged patent infringement. The accused technology related to piledriving equipment used in the construction industry.
Performed a lost profits cacluation and unjust enrichment calculation for a plaintiff in a trademark case related to plumbing and irrigation products.
Testified in trademark infringement matter involving licensor of faux stone building materials ad a foreign licensee. Analyses included lost profits and unjust enrichment.
Retained in trademark infringement matter involving licensor of faux stone building materials and a foreign licensee. Analyses included lost profits and unjust enrichment.
Issued expert report on copyright infringement damages in a matter brought by an architect against a mid-sized residential home builder. Analysis included attribution of value to the copyright.
Performed analysis in a patent infringement case in which the plaintiff alleged that defendant had infringed plaintiff’s patent by manufacturing and selling a portable screening device used to separate fine material from construction debris. Evaluated the opposing expert’s report with regard to the calculation of a reasonable royalty.
Engaged by defense counsel involved in a patent infringement matter involving manufacturers of doors and related products. Analysis included both lost profits and reasonable royalty.
