Recruitment Fraud Alert
It has come to our attention that various individuals or organizations are posting fraudulent job descriptions and contacting people offering false employment opportunities, pretending to recruit on behalf of FTI. These fraudulent “recruiters” pretend to solicit applications on behalf of FTI, notify individuals that their qualifications were found to be suitable for employment, and may request sensitive personal and financial information.
Email correspondence from perpetrators is often sent from free web-based email accounts such as aol.com, yahoo.com, or gmail.com. Please be advised that all legitimate correspondence from FTI employees will come from “@fticonsulting.com” email accounts. There are no variations of these email addresses.
Also, please be advised that FTI never sends checks or asks for money transfers or payments from applicants to secure a job, either as an employee or as a contractor, at any point in the recruitment process.
We consider the unauthorized use of our company name or the names of FTI employees to be a crime and are working to investigate and resolve this issue. To report a suspected fraud, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
