What transportation is available from the airport to Grand Floridian Resort & Spa?
The Disney Magical Express (DME) will transport you from the airport to the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We will arrange this on your behalf and send you your confirmation number and additional information regarding how to utilize the Magical Express closer to the Orientation date.
Upon arriving at the Orlando airport, follow signs to the Disney Magical Express Welcome Center in the Main Terminal Building, B side, Level 1. Should you have trouble locating it, the Orlando airport representatives will be able to help direct you.
If you plan to check a bag: Approximately 2 weeks prior to the orientation, you will receive a Disney packet that will contain luggage tags. If you are checking a bag, it is important that you secure the tags to your checked luggage for your bags to be delivered to your room at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Once you arrive, do not pick up your bag at baggage claim as Disney's Magical Express service will collect your luggage and deliver it directly to your Walt Disney World hotel room within 3 hours after you check in at the resort. Luggage delivery service provided by Disney's Magical Express is available for flights arriving between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm daily. For airport arrivals after 10:00 pm, you must pick up your luggage at baggage claim and transport it with you on the motor coach.
The Disney Magical Express has been known to take a few hours in delivering checked luggage, so you may want to plan accordingly with a change of clothes/shoes in your carry-on luggage.
What meals are provided?
All meals will be provided beginning with lunch on Wednesday through lunch on Friday. Any meals during travel will be eligible for reimbursement with accompanying receipts.
