FTI Consulting Strengthens Strategic Communications Segment with Launch of People & Change Practice in Brussels
Brussels, 13 November 2019 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the expansion of its global People & Change practice with the appointment of Sabine Clappaert as a Senior Director in the firm’s Strategic Communications segment in Brussels.
Ms. Clappaert has 20 years’ experience in the corporate world with deep expertise in change management, organisational development, team coaching and communication as enablers for business transformation. As a Senior Director in the Brussels office, Ms. Clappaert will work across industry sectors to support clients with challenges around strategic shifts, organisational design, change management, leadership and talent development, and culture transformation.
The appointment of Ms. Clappaert and the launch of the People & Change practice in Brussels builds on existing teams across Germany, the UK and the U.S.
Julia Harrison, a Senior Managing Director and Managing Partner of FTI Consulting’s Brussels office, said, “Brussels is the heart of Europe, and we already offer the consultancy services needed to help our clients seize opportunities, stake a competitive position, navigate market disruptions, manage crises, articulate their brand and preserve their permission to operate within the European Union and its single market. Ms. Clappaert has led and supported change efforts for multinational companies in a wide variety of sectors, including automotive, technology, banking, pharmaceuticals, real estate, fund management, fast moving consumer goods and professional services. She is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Barrett’s Cultural Transformation Practitioner and a team coach. Ms. Clappaert continues to explore new methodologies and concepts in change management and has completed courses in emerging fields such as Transformational Presence in Leadership & Coaching and Leading Change with Theory-U, which looks at change management from a more agile perspective.
