Ian Duncan is a digital transformation expert working within Digital Science, Corporate Finance & Restructuring specializing in accelerating business transformations by leveraging digital technologies. He also leads research and delivery teams to deploy new methodologies to enable organisations to deliver large-scale projects and business outcomes with increased speed, agility and certainty.
Mr. Duncan has over 27 years’ experience advising boards, executive teams and operational teams, bringing strong hands-on leadership. He is an expert practitioner in organisational redesign, programme and portfolio management and change management. He has worked in both industry and management consulting roles with clients located in Europe, Middle East, Asia and the US, across Financial Services, TMT, Utilities, Government, Agri-services, Education and Construction Industries.
More recently, Mr. Duncan led the launch of a new digital suite of services for a global educational institution and facilitated global industry leaders and academics to research, identify, pinpoint and create solutions to change the global construction industry. He has worked on numerous technology modernisation programs and has advised and guided many large transformations.
Before joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Duncan established Ennovate, a disruptor management consultancy that won several prestigious mandates to advise clients across the UK and Ireland. He has worked as a Managing Director with KPMG Management Consulting and was the Practice Leader with VISION Consulting Ireland. Prior to consulting, Mr. Duncan spent ten years working in various management positions across operations, finance, front-office and middle-office within investment banking in London and retail banking in Dublin.
Mr. Duncan is a Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching from University College Dublin and a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
