Jan Naifeh

Jan Naifeh is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Brentwood. Ms. Naifeh is a member of the Turnaround & Restructuring Services practice. Ms. Naifeh has more than 25 years of experience in working with clients to develop and implement solutions designed to minimize credit exposure and maximize asset recovery.

Ms. Naifeh’s extensive experience in healthcare has given her a unique and holistic point of view to successfully advise clients experiencing both healthy growth periods, as well as those undergoing distress. She has worked across the spectrum of different types of healthcare companies, ranging from ambulatory surgery centers, rehabilitation facilities to physician practice management, skilled nursing facilities and acute hospitals.

Ms. Naifeh advocates for her clients and develops customized solutions by analyzing financials, evaluating business plans and developing and executing strategies that leverage secondary market transactions and debt restructuring. She provides expert input in complex financial analysis and risk profiling and offers credit structure recommendations that lead to effective business decisions.

Throughout Ms. Naifeh's many years of experience are countless successful outcomes involving complex negotiations with stakeholders, developing solutions and alternative strategies and delivering improved results. Ms. Naifeh’s experience also includes resolving disputes via refinancings, secondary marketing transactions and in-court proceedings, including Section 363 sales and liquidations.

In addition to Ms. Naifeh's robust client work, her opinion is regularly sought out on credit matters by steering and creditor committees, which she has actively participated in. Beyond healthcare, she also has managed syndication of loans across diverse industries, including energy, government contractors, manufacturing, distribution and telecommunications.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Naifeh was a Senior Vice President of the Corporate and Investment Banking Special Assets Division at SunTrust Bank. There she also served as the Executive Vice President of Credit Risk Management for the Nashville region.

Ms. Naifeh has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Tennessee and is a graduate of the Scarlett Leadership Institute.
