Jeffrey’s experience is in applied economic policy analysis. He has a strong professional interest in economic development, taxation policy, regulatory design and evaluation, industry policy and urban economics.
Jeffrey specialises in the areas of public sector economics, regulation impact assessments, market and competition analysis, infrastructure project impact and evaluation, evaluation and development of business cases, cost benefit analysis, budget analysis and fees and charges design.
Jeffrey’s career as professional economist in the public sector has seen him work on many of the major policy challenges facing Australia, including competition policy, taxation policy, regulation and industry policy.
Jeffrey has experience in supporting social policy agencies with costing reviews and also has over 20 years of practical experience in leading, developing and coaching professional staff. Jeffrey is Deputy Chair of Regional Development Australia (Brisbane) Inc.
