With over 25 years’ experience, Renée Law Bertuch is highly valued by Boards and executives for her ability to provide strategic communications advice in critical situations and deliver clear and effective messaging to media and financial audiences.
Renée has expertise across strategic positioning, investor relations, capital market transactions, media relations and crisis & issues management. She is a well regarded leader who has spearheaded communications strategy on complex and often contested transactions in the technology, telco, resources, construction and retail sectors.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Renée was CEO of Cannings Strategic Communications. During her eight years at Cannings, Renée built a culture of relentless focus on clients and was trusted to provide frank and considered advice in relation to complex issues and sensitive crisis situations.
Previously, Renée lived and worked in the United States as Group Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Communications for NYSE-listed sunglass company, Oakley Inc. She moved into this role following two years as the Company’s Brand Manager in her native New Zealand.
