Rudolf Weder

Rudolf Weder manages the Fund Administration Service practice in the Cayman Islands. He has over 10 years’ experience in the fund administration industry and has been based in the Cayman Islands since 2008. He is solutions driven and has worked with various fund administrators to ensure efficient and effective administration of fund clients.

Rudolf has significant experience in the administration of both open and closed ended funds. He has led various accounting and administration teams and has served in a fiduciary capacity on several fund structures. He was responsible for managing accounting teams delivering full administration services to funds, including registered transfer agency, net asset value calculations, financial statement preparation, regulatory filings and cash management. He has acted in capacity of corporate director for various fund structures with a focus on early and seed investment strategies. He also served as a team leader on a multibillion-dollar master/feeder structure with complex derivatives portfolio.

Rudolf has been involved with change management, including development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure operational efficiency. For example, he had implemented standardised private equity waterfall calculation tools for an administration company.

Rudolf also spent some years in South Africa where he worked with private clients and managed a team responsible for financial advice and structuring.

Rudolf is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (South Africa), the Cayman Islands Institute for Professional Accountants and the Society for Trust and Estate Professionals Cayman (STEP).
