Mickey Bove

Mickey Bove is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Mickey is the Transaction leader within FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance practice in South Africa.

Mickey is a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of experience providing M&A due diligence services to clients. He has been involved in many significant due diligence assignments, working for both local and international strategic and financial buyers, providing buy-side and sell-side services, working capital and cash flow reviews and profit forecast reviews.

Mickey has also assisted clients with other M&A services, including feasibility studies, financial modelling, capital markets and stock exchange compliance work. He has worked on varied transactions in sectors such as private equity, energy and natural resources, retail and consumer markets, automotive and industrial, telecoms and technology and real estate. Mickey worked on several cross-border assignments in DRC, Nigeria, Namibia, Malawi, Kenya, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia.

In various industries for private equity clients, Mickey has performed many buy-side and sell-side due diligence reviews, including historical and business plan reviews. These include local and international private equity firms including Actis, Agile, Brait, Carlyle, DPI, Ethos, Metier, Nedbank, Old Mutual, PAPE Funds, RMB Corvest, RMB Ventures, Rockwood and Trinitas. He has also undertaken a number of profit forecast reviews and working capital reviews, including business plan assessments, for companies listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
