About Anne-Sophie
Anne-Sophie Deman is a Managing Director in the Healthcare & Life Sciences practice with a deep understanding of EU decision and policy-making, as well as experience in consulting and health non-governmental organizations (“NGOs”).
Prior to FTI Consulting, Anne-Sophie was an associate director at Hanbury Strategy, a boutique political strategy, communications and data firm. In this position, she played a leading role in building the firm’s EU practice, in addition to leading the healthcare team. Preceding Hanbury, Anne-Sophie was a trainee at the European Political Strategy Centre, the in-house think tank of the European Commission, and a research assistant at the University of British Columbia (“UBC”). At UBC, she taught a course on EU foreign policy and published two articles on EU trade policy.
Anne-Sophie served as the vice president of the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital Junior Board from 2010 to 2012 and co-founded the Tanzania Heart Babies Project, an NGO raising awareness on congenital heart disease. Additionally, she is fluent in Flemish/Dutch, French and English.
