Guillaume Gilbert

Guillaume Gilbert assists French and International corporates as well as their legal Counsels and Forensic Investigation team in the conduct of internal or regulatory investigations. He also helps them answer to authorities’ information requests.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Guillaume has been COO of Discovery and Computer Forensics for companies located in France, Belgium and Switzerland. Then he spent 4 years in London working for Unified, one of the main Discovery boutiques in the UK, where he was in charge, amongst other things, of projects technical specifications and the implementation of Best Practices. He then came back to Paris where he has been leading the Discovery practice of a Big Four for 6 years.

Through Guillaume's career in the eDiscovery industry he has managed many legal support jobs in the context of internal investigations (Litigation, Fraud, Corruption, Competition, Cartel) or compliance matters following information requests made by authorities in France (AMF, PNF, AFA...), Europe (EC, FCA...) or in the US (DOJ, FED, SEC, OFAC, FCPA…).

Guillaume has coordinated several international Discovery and Data Collection engagements involving the simultaneous implication of several teams across the globe. He was involved in one of the largest Discovery jobs ever in Europe (over 25,000 custodians) where he had the responsibility of the review platform infrastructure.

Guillaume has also taught Investigation Techniques courses at Paris Dauphine University (Paris XVI).
