About Robert
Robert Salandra is a member of FTI Capital Advisors (FTICA), FTI Consulting’s wholly-owned investment banking subsidiary. Mr. Salandra focuses on providing investment banking services including M&A, advisory and capital raising through FTICA for clients in the power and renewable energy space. He has more than 25 years of experience providing debt and equity capital advice to clients in the energy and infrastructure markets.
Mr. Salandra has expertise advising corporate clients, private equity and infrastructure sponsors, and family offices in the private capital markets on transactions involving equity and debt placement, project finance, M&A, leveraged finance, loan syndication, and restructuring in the power, renewables and infrastructure segments. He has project and structured finance investment experience involving over US$20 billion of closed transactions.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Salandra was a Managing Director at Whitehall & Company, an investment bank based in New York. Before Whitehall, Mr. Salandra was a Managing Director with Morgan Stanley where he led the structured lending group within commodities. Prior to that, he was the CFO and Chief Investment Officer of Central Resources, a privately held family office. Previously, Mr. Salandra was a Managing Director at GE Capital where he spent a total of 18 years investing both debt and structured equity in industrial infrastructure, power, and midstream oil & gas projects. Mr. Salandra also held financial positions with Goldman Sachs and IBM Credit and started his career as an electrical engineer for IBM.
