Our Role
- FTI Consulting interviewed more than 50 stakeholders from leadership, editorial, production, newsroom and technology to understand current technology pain points and gaps in the field and corporate hubs.
- Our experts developed a capability maturity model and design principles based on pre-production, production and post-production news operation workflows.
- The team created a strategic blueprint for an orchestration platform called “SuperDesk” based on our workshops and ongoing company initiatives.
- FTI Consulting constructed a technology road map to include five major technical initiatives, including business intelligence and content sharing, and recommended a sequenced set of investment initiatives with estimated capital costs.
