The online channel continues to increase its share of retail sales during the holiday season and all year round. Shoppers have become more inclined to make purchases online during the holidays — trading in crowded parking lots and toting bags across malls for the incredible convenience of shopping at home or on tablet devices and getting great deals online. The accelerating growth of online sales in 2012-2013 has caused us to revise our online sales forecast through 2020 by nearly 10%.
