Andrew is an experienced leader of international listed, private and government businesses, with an acknowledged track record in strategy, corporate finance and commercial management.

With an established Australian and international profile at senior executive level, and as a turnaround and business improvement professional, Andrew has floated, operated and advised ASX, TSX and NZSE companies and is one of the few Australians to have successfully operated as Chief Restructuring Officer of multiple listed companies.

Over the past 30 years Andrew has developed a reputation for building and improving businesses, with the skill-set to develop and communicate vision and strategy and the ability to lead corporate operations and finance teams.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with leading global firm Arthur Andersen, working in Australia and the UK, Andrew commenced his commercial career with ASX/NZSE listed GRD Group, owner of New Zealand’s largest gold producer, Macraes Mining (later Oceana Gold), and world renown resource project design and construction engineer, GRD Minproc.

Andrew later become Finance Director of GRD Ltd, also commencing a six-year (two-term) period as Non-Executive Director of Western Australia’s water utility, Water Corporation, throughout which he chaired the Audit and Compliance Committee.

Andrew subsequently helped to establish and co-lead an ASX listed exploration group, in various board roles, before being recruited back to a senior finance role; as CFO of Glencore’s Australian Nickel business, where he was later offered the role of Global CFO of Nickel of the merged Glencore Xstrata Group.

In 2013 Andrew stepped back into corporate advisory, co-leading FTI Consulting’s Perth and national mining advisory team, where he has built a successful practice saving and improving businesses, applying his deep understanding of resources and infrastructure, from an owner, contractor and operator perspective.
