Asher Cohen is a member of FTI Capital Advisors, FTI Consulting’s investment banking subsidiary. Mr. Cohen specializes in mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) and capital raise transactions with additional experience in financial restructurings and fairness opinions. Mr. Cohen’s primarily focuses on leading sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory in healthy and distressed situations. He has close to 20 years of investment banking advisory experience within the Telecom, Media & Technology (“TMT”) industry.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting in early 2017, Mr. Cohen spent 12 years at Houlihan Lokey, where he led Telecom and Internet Infrastructure coverage within the TMT Group, including media technologies, cloud, data center, wireline and wireless carriers and com-equipment. He was responsible to strategic corporate finance advisory with extensive execution experience in M&A with additional experience in restructuring and special situation transactions. Prior to that, he served as Director of Corporate Development with IDT Telecom, leading M&A growth strategy and execution. He also was an Associate in the TMT Group of J.P. Morgan Securities in New York, focusing on M&A and other corporate finance transactions.
