Mr. George has also advised strategic and financial private equity firms on many healthcare transactions, including involving physician practice management, revenue cycle billing companies, urgent care, imaging centers and healthcare information technology companies.
Mr. George’s expertise combines organizational strategy with practical, hands-on experience in driving cultural change across healthcare companies such as large integrated health systems, community hospitals and private equity backed healthcare ventures. In addition to these skills, he brings a unique breadth and depth of executive experience to his consulting. Starting from a background in healthcare information technology, he built his career managing large, complex physician organizations, and has served in executive leadership roles including chief executive officer, chief information officer, and senior director of finance and business operations.

He has overseen the implementation of comprehensive health information management systems including medical practice management, electronic patient medical records, digital diagnostic archiving, laboratory, clinical, and pharmacy components.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. George founded Think First to help healthcare organizations achieve operational and financial excellence. Under his leadership, Think First improved patient access, streamlined clinic operations, aligned physicians, improved productivity, and accelerated the revenue cycle for thousands of physicians nationwide. Also, under Mr. George, Think First developed Instant Informatics, a proprietary financial analysis tool that works with physician practice data to monitor financial performance to identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce costs.
