About Dewey
Dewey Imhoff specializes in financial services advisory and management. Mr. Imhoff has more than 30 years experience, including industry expertise in retail, healthcare, manufacturing, forest products, real estate, sports and energy sectors.
Mr. Imhoff has balanced accomplishments in both line and staff positions, which have included responsibility for financial and statutory reporting, troubled loans, asset sales, fraud auditing, strategic planning, and administrative and operational management. He has led many high-profile national and international assignments. He also has developed and implemented business strategies, business plans and capital structures specific to the revitalization of underperforming companies, implemented both cost realignment and revenue enhancement strategies, provided interim management services, and designed and provided expert testimony on retention compensation programs.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Imhoff was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Before that, he was a senior manager at a prominent nationally recognized crisis management and turnaround boutique firm and a vice president of the Special Assets group at Prudential Capital Corporation. Mr. Imhoff also held a special 15-month assignment working directly with the chairman and chief executive officer in managing the office of the chairman at Prudential Capital Corporation and prior to that as director of administration and statutory reporting.
Prior to that, Mr. Imhoff was vice president of finance for a biomedical device company that developed, manufactured and marketed products to health care providers. During that time, he also developed and implemented a plan to reorganize and restructure the company and shepherded a separate public company as debtor-in-possession through bankruptcy proceedings. Before that, Mr. Imhoff held various positions at KMG Main Hurdman, where his clients were primarily public and private middle market companies.
Mr. Imhoff is the co-editor of the book The Credit Executive’s Guide to Business Restructuring and a contributing author to The Practical Guide to Corporate Restructuring; A Credit Manager’s Handbook. He has also presented at numerous seminars.
