Eddy Lee is a Senior Director in the Economic Consulting segment of FTI Consulting. In this role, he is part of the firm’s international arbitration service line in Asia, after having relocated from London to Singapore in May 2016.
Eddy is a chartered accountant and has provided financial and economic consulting advice to clients for the past eleven years. His work primarily involves issues including the identification and valuation of lost profits, and the valuation of businesses, financial assets (including shareholdings, and other assets) and wasted costs.
Eddy regularly leads teams supporting the testifying expert in high-value, high-stake disputes. He has assisted in the preparation of expert reports for matters in the High Court of England & Wales, the UK First Tier Tax Tribunal and arbitral tribunals under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, UNCITRAL or the London Court of International Arbitration.
Eddy is currently supporting the testifying experts for a claimant in the media sector seeking damages greater than US$1 billion and is working with a respondent in the consumer goods industry facing similarly-sized claims, among other matters.
Eddy has acted as an expert witness in advocacy workshops organised by the Commercial Bar Association (COMBAR), a specialist association of the English and Welsh Commercial Bar, the Foundation for International Arbitration Advocacy (FIAA) as well as with a number of individual law firms.
Eddy holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the University College London, a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Warwick and is a qualified chartered accountant.
