Jeremy Michaels is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. He is a member of the Strategic Communications Practice and is based in Cape Town.
Jeremy leads the Group Public Affairs team in South Africa. He has a wealth of experience and skills in strategic communications. His career started as a political correspondent in radio, moving on to television and then print spanning 13 years.
Amongst other roles in government communications, Jeremy served as the Head of Communications & International Relations at the Department of Mineral Resources and Spokesperson for the Minister of Mineral Resources in 2009/10. Most recently, Jeremy was the Vice-President for Communications and Public Affairs at Ivanhoe Mines.
