Education

Ken Churton is a Managing Director in the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment and is based in San Francisco where he focuses on business development. Mr. Churton has been a business development executive with 25 years of proven sales and business consultation experience specializing in the areas of banking and financial services, regulatory compliance, disputes and investigations, SEC / accounting advisory, and complex litigation.

Mr. Churton has worked on four of the largest mortgage servicing consent orders to date and several high profile intellectual property disputes. He has coordinated a wide array of services to clients which include Banking and Financial Services, AM Law 100 Law Firms, Mortgage Servicers, Auto & Consumer Lenders, Fortune 500 Corporations, Technology and Healthcare.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Churton was a leader and Senior Director of the Business Development team where he was responsible for executing the go-to-market strategy for the financial services industry. He was working across the firm bringing the global investigations and compliance group together with the banking and technology practices to address critical risk management, regulatory compliance, operations and technology issues for clients. Through this practice, he utilized and drove strategic initiatives focused on identifying emerging risks & developing targeted solutions for financial services, banks, mortgage originators and lenders. Prior to consulting, Mr. Churton was an account executive for Oracle. He was responsible for the mid-Atlantic territory and became on the top sales leaders in his division and achieving club status during his tenure there.
