Luciano Lindemann is a Managing Director in the Turnaround & Restructuring practice. He has experience serving in interim management roles for companies undergoing turnaround processes. Mr. Lindemann has industry experience in healthcare, consumer goods and education.

Mr. Lindemann has served as interim Chief Restructuring Officer and interim Chief Financial Officer, and has assisted companies with debt restructuring, fundraising, performance improvement, cost reduction and merger and acquisition advisory.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Lindemann worked at Votorantim Cimentos, the world’s fifth largest cement producer, where he served on the Financial Risk Management team. In this role, he prepared the company for an IPO, including the creation of corporate governances, financial and accounting structuring and SOX certification. He became the company’s Global Treasurer and was responsible for global cash management, fund raising, cash flow planning and insurance management, including the newly acquired units in European, Asian and African markets, in addition to the already existing operations in South and North America.

Prior to Votorantim, Mr. Lindemann served as a Financial Controller at Unilever. Before that, he worked in the sales planning department at Citibank. Before Citibank, Mr. Lindemann was part of a global FP&A team for software development business at Dell, Inc. and was responsible for the management of a global annual budget of USD$1 billion. In addition, he was responsible for the fixed asset management for Dell Canada, developing accounting skills in U.S. GAAP and IFRS.

Prior to Dell Inc., Mr. Lindemann worked on the Treasury/Internal Controls team at Delphi Automotive Systems, where he worked at a Brazilian unit, which had been integrated into a General Motors plant, and was responsible for local treasury activities and worked on the SOX certification.

Mr. Lindemann holds a B.B.A. from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil and an M.B.A. in finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil. He also holds an extension in risk management in banking and finance from City University London.

Mr. Lindemann is native in Portuguese and fluent in English.
