Matthew Solon is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. He is a member of the Strategic Communications segment and is based in London. Matthew works in the Employee Engagement & Change Communications practice.

Matthew has more than twenty five years’ experience. He works in a wide range of companies, professional firms and public authorities, designing and delivering interventions that help to increase client and customer loyalty, improve communication and enhance the quality and impact of leadership and management. Matthew is also a skilled facilitator of away-days, corporate events and strategy brainstorms. 

With boards, chief executives, senior leadership teams, partners, and senior fee earners Matthew’s approach is always to help his clients enhance their skills and further increase the value of the contribution they make to their own organisations.  

As well as his work in training and consultancy, Matthew has a career as an award-winning writer. He is a regular contributor to a range of different periodicals writing on subjects that include leadership, conflict management and employee engagement. In the broadcast media, Matthew works as a scriptwriter and has had more than fifty programmes produced by BBC Radio 4 and the World Service. His drama documentary, The Day that Lehman Died, won awards in the UK and in the USA.
