Melanie Finn is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Boston. Ms. Finn is in the Business Development department in corporate.
Ms. Finn has been with FTI Consulting since 2009. In her role, Ms. Finn oversees the firm’s business development and marketing activities. In her business development role, Ms. Finn supports corporate business development and manages corporate acquisitions. In her marketing role, Ms. Finn oversees all key marketing activities including branding, sponsorships and integrated campaigns.
Ms. Finn also works with the Telecom, Media and Technology industry practice on select broadcasting assignments. Ms. Finn has either performed diligence on or worked on the bankruptcy for the following companies while at FTI Consulting: Citadel Broadcasting, Clear Channel Communications, Cumulus Broadcasting, Cumulus Media Partners and Young Broadcasting. Ms. Finn also advised Summit Media on its May 2013 acquisition of select Cox Media radio clusters.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Finn was most recently an Associate at Deutsche Bank in their Media and Telecom investment banking practice. In her four years at Deutsche Bank, Ms. Finn covered the broadcasting, outdoor, theatre and entertainment sectors. During her time at Deutsche Bank, Ms. Finn was involved in over $10 billion of capital raises and acquisitions. Some of her clients included: AMC Theatres, Citadel Broadcasting, Clear Channel Communications, Cumulus Broadcasting, Feld Entertainment, Freedom Communications and Sinclair Broadcasting.
Ms. Finn graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing. She also has an Executive MBA from Columbia University’s Columbia Business School.
