Nick Brooks

Nick Brooks is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. He is a member of the Economic and Financial Consulting practice and is based in London.

Nick has over 10 years’ experience in applying economic and financial expertise to complex regulatory, strategic and valuation issues across a range of sectors. These sectors include electricity, gas, payment systems, telecoms and airports. In recent years Nick’s practice has focused on supporting firms in their engagement with Government and regulators. He also has a background in, and current experience of, leading teams to prepare expert witness evidence for the purposes of commercial litigation and arbitration involving matters of valuation and damages assessments.

Nick has also worked extensively in healthcare regulation where he developed particular expertise in pricing and large-scale economic modelling of local health economies, as well as working on high-profile acute services reconfigurations. He spent a period of time on secondment at Monitor (now NHS Improvement) developing the first set of statutory prices for healthcare pricing in England.

Nick is a CFA Charterholder. He received a first-class M.Sci. Hons., in Physics from the University of Bristol and subsequently a Distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics.
