Pablo Andrés Valenzuela Silva is a Senior Director in the FTI Consulting Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment based in the New York City area. Mr. Valenzuela has more than ten years’ professional experience as a Senior Project Controls Manager and Construction Claims analyst, with strong exposure in mining, transmission lines, telecommunications, property and hospitality industries.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Valenzuela was a Senior Project Controls Manager, who developed baseline schedules for all project stages from design through procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning and turnover including on-site project management positions for most types of large major construction projects applying scheduling and industry standards. He managed and carried out all scheduling functions for major construction contractors in the areas of schedule development, schedule maintenance, schedule analysis, contract administration, claim preparation, project costs and risk management. Mr. Valenzuela has worked in both owner and contractor capacities with field experience in major mining projects including civil, structural, mechanical, piping and electrical works.
Mr. Valenzuela prepared assessments on active projects involving risks and possible delays for all phases of the projects and proposed mitigation measures based in earned value system and performance factors. He supplied cash flow projections, monthly financial reporting and change order control. Mr. Valenzuela also developed construction weekly work plans to coordinate and facilitate reports to management to help design and construction team’s coordination efforts.
Mr. Valenzuela has performed forensic schedule analyses and damages calculations for reports for ongoing projects. As a field planner, he was responsible for maintenance, development and control of multiple general contractors’ schedules such as permanent offices, camp expansion, field erected tanks, transmission lines and mass earthworks. He has been responsible for development and maintenance of fragnet schedules for primary flotation, moly plant, regrind building, grinding building and stockpiles.
Mr. Valenzuela has experience working in different site environments and home office teams from South up to North America which makes him an excellent team player, he is also a fluent communicator and an excellent networker.
