Paul Jordan is a Senior Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Houston. Mr. Jordan has more than 30 years of diverse energy experience, including key roles in the issuance of over $1 billion in debt, equity and structured finance proceeds. His expertise also includes management oversight of over $7 billion in existing financial transactions and direct involvement in engineering production, evaluation and operations at both financial institutions and oil and gas operating companies.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Jordan founded NP3 LLC, where he simultaneously served as CFO of two separate energy companies and performed asset evaluations for a large financial institution. Before founding NP3, Mr. Jordan served as a Financial and Operating Executive for Willsource Enterprise, a small Denver-based exploration company. Before that, he served in multiple financial roles for several Boston-based private equity providers, including Harvard Management Company, Sowood Capital Management and Denham Capital Management.
Mr. Jordan also served as an oil and gas portfolio manager for GE Capital’s Structured Finance Group. Prior to that, he was the Team Leader of CIBC World Markets’ energy group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jordan worked as a Petroleum Engineer for two medium-sized independents, Petro-Lewis Corporation and BHP Petroleum (Americas) .
Mr. Jordan holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and previously held NASD registered licenses 7 and 63.
