Pratyush Lal is a Managing Director with FTI Consulting and the American lead for the Performance Analytics practice. Mr. Lal has more than 16 years of experience advising executive and leadership teams on enabling value creation through better digital asset leverage, operational optimization, digital transformation strategies and their execution. He provides expert guidance to his clients to drive omnichannel, customer centricity and analytics based transformations.

Mr. Lal regularly advises clients on matters related to digital strategy, performance improvement, change management, compliance and governance. He has managed, led and delivered engagements of various sizes from single week assessments to multi- year programs.

He has designed the data and analytics strategy, governance and operating models for multiple global insurers and has advised insurance organizations on omnichannel and digital maturity strategies, planning and execution. Mr. Lal has led the strategy, design and execution of a customer centricity program for a large global multi-line insurance provider including establishing a new operating model, modern data architecture, master data platforms, embedded analytics and change management- to be leveraged in support of underwriting, claims processing and marketing. He was deeply involved in the normalization and standardization across their businesses, driving customer and internal stakeholder experience consistency.

He has led the omnichannel transformation and strategies for many of the largest companies in the USA, as well as for disruptive smaller organizations and startups. Mr. Lal has also led the design and execution for product and customer data, governance, architecture and analytics for one of the world’s largest beverage companies. He designed the maturity planning model to provide continued business support.

He has held senior positions with consulting and software companies, with responsibility for developing, adapting and improving professional service functions in areas of digital transformation, process improvement, analytics and master data management. Mr. Lal has served on executive committees driving strategic direction and alignment.

Mr. Lal has led a practice through privatization transition and large portfolio shifts; expanded the portfolio through new solutions, increased customer satisfaction, and achieve higher repeat business.

He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology as well as certifications in Global Economics and Operations Strategy and has been awarded multiple awards for his professional and academic achievements.
