Robert Wren is a Managing Director in the Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment of FTI Consulting and is based in Hong Kong. Mr. Wren has more than nine years of experience in complex, data-intensive analyses and electronic discovery litigation focused in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, technology, legal services and healthcare.

Mr. Wren has extensive experience in the identification, collection, analysis and production of structured financial, transactional and operational electronic data to provide meaningful business insights. He has managed the design and implementation of complex data applications enabling the end-user to conduct independent research, reporting and review. He has been responsible for financial system reconciliations, and developing internal and external reporting.

One of Mr. Wren’s most notable engagements involved assisting the U.S. Federal Government’s Department of Interior and Department of Justice in class action and tribal lawsuits alleging the mismanagement of Indian trust accounts and assets. The engagement required the investigation of over 170 million transactional records, specifically analyses relating to royalty revenue damage calculations, class definition rules, complex settlement awards to reservations and strategic planning for tribal acquisition in the Land Buy-Back Program for Tribal Nations.

In addition, Mr. Wren has extensive experience in electronic discovery and computer forensics. Prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Wren was the interim operations manager at a big four’s discovery solution center where he oversaw the processing of hundreds of gigabytes of data from multiple engagements simultaneously. During this time, he developed policies and procedures relating to best practices in handling, processing and producing sensitive data while ensuring quality work product.

Mr. Wren received a B.S. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
