Zaineb Bokhari is a Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting. She is a member of the capital markets communications team and is based in New York.
Ms. Bokhari has nearly 25 years of experience in the financial services and technology industries. She joined FTI Consulting from Syntel Inc. a Nasdaq-listed technology services company where she directed all outreach to the investment community. In this capacity, Ms. Bokhari served as a key adviser to the company’s senior leadership through management transitions, positive and negative operational developments, and regulatory and industry changes.
Before moving to the corporate side, Ms. Bokhari was an equity research analyst focused on the financial technology and enterprise software industries. She has worked at Standard & Poor’s, Deutsche Bank Securities, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Smith Barney. Her past comments and views on stocks have appeared on a variety of media outlets including Barron’s, Bloomberg, BusinessWeek, CNN Money.com, Investor’s Business Daily, MarketWatch.com and The Wall Street Journal. In addition, Ms. Bokhari was twice ranked in The Wall Street Journal’s annual Best on the Street Analyst Survey.
Ms. Bokhari began her career in asset management at Furman Selz Capital Management where she served as Associate Director, evaluating companies in the pharmaceutical, medical device and retail industries for long and short equity investment strategies.
Ms. Bokhari holds a B.B.A from Baruch College and an M.B.A from Columbia Business School.
