Claire Packer began her career in the restructuring industry in 2003 and has experience across many industries, including property, construction, mining, energy and the retirement sector.

Claire values active stakeholder engagement and is committed to achieving results for her clients, employing her experience, insight and commercial mindset to deliver relevant and on-point outcomes for private lenders, corporate boards, shareholders and banking clients. She works on formal appointments in receiverships, voluntary administrations, deed arrangements, liquidations and bankruptcy and is also engaged on a consultancy basis.

Claire has experience in complex investigations, cash flow forecasts and analysis, and management and operations, leading the way through any challenge in an assignment with the client’s objective at front of mind.

Relevant Experience:

• Battery Energy Storage Site – Advisory role with the lender/ownership group to assist with their engagement with the principal contractor of the project, NuEnergy Infrastructure, to achieve completion of stage one and two of the project
• IG Power (Callide) Group – Replacement Administrators: achieved a sale and recapitalisation of the group in parallel with detailed investigations into the incidents at Callide C power station in Biloela, Queensland
• Panoramic Resources Limited – Administration: successful restructure and recapitalisation of a nickel mine in the north of WA in a declining nickel market
• Queensland Nickel Pty Ltd, Townsville – Lead role in the investigations and subsequent litigation in the liquidation of a nickel refinery
• FSG Australia – Administration: secured the sale of disability support service provider
• Luxury high-rise retirement village – Receivership of a group of entities which operated on the Gold Coast, Queensland
• Multimillion-dollar construction company – Instrumental in the winding up of the company involving complex litigation and the successful return of funds to creditors
