David Mazzariello, M.B.A.

David Mazzariello brings more than 12 years of experience in management consulting, ambulatory operations and health system strategy. Mr. Mazzariello’s expertise includes physician practice management, organizational restructuring and compensation redesign. He has a strong track record in interim leadership and experience in contact center development and optimization, as well as in technology enablement. Additionally, he has successfully led transformational initiatives for academic health systems and private equity sponsors nationwide.

Mr. Mazzariello began his career at FTI Consulting and later spent nearly five years at Yale New Haven Health System (“YNHHS”). During his tenure at YNHHS, he held key management roles in ambulatory strategy and practice operations, both at the health system level and within its employed medical foundation, Northeast Medical Group. He also played a pivotal role in YNHHS’ Covid-19 response and recovery efforts, spearheading numerous transformation initiatives across the organization.

Since rejoining FTI Consulting, Mr. Mazzariello has led operational leadership and turnaround efforts for multi-state, multi-site PE-backed health companies. Additionally, he has overseen several transformational engagements, focusing on integration, compensation redesign, ambulatory workforce strategy, departmental funds flow and cost optimization.

Mr. Mazzariello holds a B.A. in Healthcare Administration from Stonehill College and an M.B.A in Healthcare Management from Quinnipiac University. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (“PMP”) and a Certified Medical Practice Executive (“CMPE”). In addition, Mr. Mazzariello is an active member of various professional organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives (“ACHE”), the Medical Group Management Association (“MGMA”) and the Project Management Institute (“PMI”).
